SHOP TO YOU DROP

Uncle Sam Christmas
Comment Graphics at pYzam.com

So this is the way our society has turned out. I just watched in shock at all these people standing in line for hours to get that perfect gift(and its cold where I am at) Times are tough there is no doubt..gas prices are so high and its the cause and effect..everything else goes up too which means little $$$ to spend.

So it leaves me to wonder...do these people actually have the $$ to spend or are they dipping out of there budget..such as rent/mortgage, food, heat and so on. I know I could not just go out and spend $1000 in one day like I heard so many people did and I am sure Credit cards played a great deal but I also wonder where will these people be next Black Friday? Will they loose there homes or not have no money to buy gifts next year because they are still paying for this year.

I am blessed to have some extra money and a mother who does help me out but I don't go hog wild and dont get me wrong I would love too but at the same time your kids are not going to love you more or less if they get one thing, 5 things or 20 things.
If you have the money then by all means make it a magical Christmas but don't forget the meaning and there is also a meaning for you non-religious people too and you might not know it...this is the time of year to be happier, more grateful and put some of your problems behind you and the most important thing is this is the time for family to be together..just like they used to all the time in the old days. We dont have that now because things are different but if everybody could just make this one time a year to get together and celebrate the different holidays now til Jan 1st just think how your children and extended family will feel...its not about the money/presents it the closeness of the family that will keep your family strong and that what we need more of.

Have a blessed weekend!

God Bless you!! I just wish more parents felt like you. It would be a much better world. The world is in a crazy dive to nowhere. Somehow we have to get back to our roots and put God back in our lives. Until that happens nothing will change. Have a Blessed Christmas. Lori's Mom

Debbie that is so true. We too are cutting down this Christmas and not spending nearly as much as usual.
Blessings!
